Mike Gaffin

Mike is known for having one of the cleanest dump trucks in New England.  His regular truck, is a 240” wheelbase 2007 Kenworth W900L, with an ISX Cummins, and an 18 speed.  The outside has a few additions, such as a boxed end bumper, the traditional “New England style “ paint and pinstriping, a stainless visor from 12 Gauge Customs, and 9 cablights.

ith this being a new venue and date it was kind of like starting all over and we had to figure some things out throughout the day but it was an absolutely beautiful day and in the end a very successful show! Over 100 trucks came to spend the day with us helping raise money for the American Cancer Society/ Relay For Life in honor of Sal Castiglione.

Charles Hale

Charles Hale, of Russell Springs, KY owns this 1985 Peterbilt 359 extended hood, with a 3408 Caterpillar engine, and a 15 speed overdrive transmission.  A true largecar for sure, but as usual, its about the details.  That engine and transmission combination will set the stage for a very unique story, that very few have heard.

June 2021 Days Gone By

Trucking in the oil fields is a tough, rugged and dirty job. These trucks were built and spec’d tough for the jobs at hand. In the 60s and 70s truck manufacturers were proud of the trucks they built and the paint jobs they applied. The owner operators in this industry took pride in their equipment but at the end of the day these trucks were the tools that made them money and not show pieces.
