JTC Transport

Dan Look steers and gears this 1998 Peterbilt 379 for Cory and Renae Thene of JTC Transport out of Clear Lake Minnesota. Seeing a pop top instead of a flat top is definitely refreshing and Cory’s 379 is as cool as they come!

2020 Mothers Day Convoy

On a typical Mothers Day in Lancaster Pennsylvania the annual Make a Wish convoy would be held, but since 2020 has been anything but typical it was postponed and ultimately held with just the top a 30 trucks that raised money for the cause. So a few days before Mothers Day Randy Brown had the idea to do a convoy anyway so we put the word out and in just a few short days notice we had over 50 trucks show up to participate!

Amcan Truckfest/ATSC Truck Show

On June 11th I set out for the first road trip of the year headed to the first Truck Show of the year, the Amcan Truckfest/ATSC truck show.  Because we live in Pennsylvania and are under strict requirements to wear a mask everywhere it was truly a breath of fresh air to not only be able to walk into a convenience without a mask and even more impressive (at the time) to be able to sit down in a restaurant and eat!

Kurt Davis

Kurt Davis, owner of Davis Transport in Fort Dodge, IA owns the beautiful combo you see here.  Though in his own words, he says “we like the old school look, keep it simple”, this combo is loaded with details from front to back.

Jeff Cable

Back in 1993, Jeff Cables’s dad purchased this 1991 Kenworth W900, in Minnesota, and put it to work in the family trucking company.  The truck was later sold in 1997.  With a love for Kenworth trucks, and sentimental value, Jeff decided to try and track down a truck that meant a lot to him.

October 2020 Flashback

Its been a while since I shard an LTL 9000 that I caught. I caught this one in Toms Brook back in the early 90’s.

October 2020 Reader’s Rides

Daniel Hollins owns this very large 2004 Peterbilt 379. Daniel recently had his ride stretched to 305” and a Cat C-15 powers it backed by an 18 speed transmission with 3:55 rears.
