I was honored to be chosen to be the “official” photographer at the Chrome For Kids Truck Show again this year. Last year was the first year for this type of show and the feedback was so good they had another fund raising show again this year. There have been many corporate sponsors for the show as well as many trucking companies and individuals.
On the weekend of July 29-31st, with the help of Jimmy Rosenberger of Mini Chrome Shop, I made my way back to Rantoul for the Top Gun LargeCar Shootout for the first time in several years.

Mark, who is from Carlisle, Pennsylvania, bought this 1973 Peterbilt 359 pretty much as is about 2 1/2 years ago and has since been showing it the TLC it needed to get it right and dependable. The one big project he decided needed done is the one he’s in the middle of as I write this.
Jimmy Lammon once again made his way to Shipshewana Indiana for the Blessing of the Trucks. The turnout at this event just keeps getting bigger and better, and we can see why!
The 2016 Vintage and Working Truck Show hosted by the Oregon Trail Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society and the Pacific Northwest Truck Museum, more commonly called the “Brooks Truck Show”, was held on was held on August 27 and 28 this year.
I have been attending the Carlisle Truck Nationals for over 20 years and as someone that has always had a love for trucks of all shapes and sizes it has always been a favorite of mine. The 2016 Truck Nationals, held August 5th-7th, had the biggest turnout of largecars I have seen in many years.

The 27th Annual Great Salt Lake Kidney Kamp truck show was held August 12-13th and once again Ryan Dorius was there to cover all the action.
