We had seen pictures here and there of Kyle Hennings beautiful 2013 Peterbilt 386 and every time we would see it on the internet, the comment would be made, “I would love to get that truck in front of my camera.” That opportunity finally came up for Rob Murray at this year’s Wheel Jam truck show and Rob did a great job showing just how large this truck really is!

I made my way down to Joplin, Missouri June 9th – 11th for the Annual Shell Rotella Superrigs competition. The 2016 event was held at the Joplin Convention and Trade Center.

Purple has long been the color of royalty. And if you can look at Jay Hawthorne’s 2007 Peterbilt without thinking it looks like it was built for a king…. Well, you may just need to up your medication! Jay may tell you, though, that it was actually built for a Queen. When he bought and built this 379 Legacy, #159, it was a dedication to his mother Lynn, who passed away from cancer. Purple was her favorite color, so the choice of Violet Effect was only natural.
