Welcome to the October, 2017 edition of LargeCarMag Online!
Ron Ver Steeg is owner of not only this 2013 Peterbilt 388 but also 4 others including a sister truck that closely resembles the one you see here. Its hard not to be drawn to the Ver Steeg transfers, this particular truck features a bowtie visor, LED watermelon lights, 32” quarter fenders, chrome stemco’s on the front axle and obviously a lot more.
I don’t think there is such a thing as a perfect show, however the 2017 LargeCarMag Southern Classic held at Lee Hi Travel Plaza in Lexington Virginia on October 14th, was as close as we have ever come to a perfect show! From the perfect weather to all the amazing vendors to the nearly 200 large rides to all the great spectators this was just a truly fun weekend!

If you’re into way cool Peterbilts and don’t know the name Vinnie Diorio, owner of Rollin Transport out of Richfield Wisconsin, well, I for one would like to know what freakin galaxy you’ve been spending the last couple of decades in and how did you get here? And hopefully you brought your own beer because we don’t need no stinkin aliens hoggin all the beer us Earthlings work so hard for.
Shawn Carroll and his uncle, John Handy, of J&J Handy Trucking from Penrose Colorado are the owners of this 1992 Peterbilt 379.
This set up used to be a very common sight on the roads and at truck stops. A cabover with a drom box for extra storage.
Corey Mccaslin sent us this very cool tattoo.
Steve Kozar built this awesome Western Star model.
