In a world that changes daily, it’s become really common for guys to take new trucks, and style them in similar ways to the trucks of days gone by. Such was the case with this “sweet” 2017 Peterbilt 389 that you see here, that’s been dubbed Brown Sugar.

Montana is home to this month’s feature from the Big Sky country appropriately known as Big Sky Farmers and Rancher Co-op. Back in the 60s and 70s co-ops were a popular way of doing business amongst farmers and ranchers.

The 2019, 20th annual Big Iron Classic was held September 6th and 7th in Kasson Minnesota and was stop #2 on my Mid West tour late last summer.
As we look back in trucking history different parts of the country were known for their distinctive types of rigs and their different styles and fads of customization. In the 1970s and 80s the Grand Rapids, Michigan region was home to many great companies whose rigs featured fully muraled tractors and trailers and mild to wild pinstriping and lettering.
