July 2019 Flashback

This is one of those pictures that I wish turned out better but is too cool not to share.

July 2019 Truckin’ Tattoo

At Truckers Day at The Buck back in 2017 I spotted what appeared to be a cool tattoo, so I asked Tim Prevete if I could get a better look at it…

Tootsie Roll

Lots of people have asked where we came up with the name LargeCarMag and the truck you see here is a big part of where it came from. As a kid, I was in love with everything about American Trucker magazine,  but one thing in particular I was drawn to, the Vernon Truck wash ads. Bill Donahoe owned Vernon Truck Wash and the Tootsie Roll and placed ads with customers trucks in them called “the largecar seal of approval.”

2018 Truckin for Kids

On October 5th -7th 2018 there was a benefit truck show at the Clinton County Fair Grounds in Pennsylvania. This annual Truckers 4 Hope Jamboree in which benefits Cystic Fibrosis Research under the team name Hope 4 Hayze, had the community excited.

2018 East Coast Marmon Truck Meet

On September 16th 2018 Leroy Keens held his annual East Coast Marmon Truck Meet at Weaver Markets in Denver Pennsylvania. If you’ve always wanted to check out a Marmon truck up close this is the show for you!

2018 Cable Truck Show

On September 15th the Cable Truck show was held at CTI Coordinators headquarters in Saltsburg Pennsylvania. As you can see there were lots of big rides in attendance including some very unique rides!

August 2019 Reader’s Ride

Brett Rose owns this beautiful 2009 Peterbilt 389. An ISX Cummins puts 700 hp to the ground and a 13 speed transmission and 3:55 rears helps get all that power to the ground and it all rides on a 320” wheelbase.

Fleenor Brothers

The Fleenor Bros. name is undoubtedly no stranger to big rides, but they stepped outside the box with their new ride that you see here.

August 2019 Days Gone By

What should we do this weekend? Let’s head over to Consolidated Peterbilt in Chicopee and check out some new trucks. Great idea! It’s hard to believe 40 years have passed since Consolidated West held its grand opening in Chicopee on February 18th and 19th 1979.

Laird Spike Fuller

Spike Fuller is the kind of do it yourself, talented truck customizer I could only dream of being. Just take a look at his WAY gorgeous 95 Pete 379.

2018 Convoy’s Big Rig Truck Show

The 2018 Convoy’s Big Rig Truck Show event was held at the Pennysaver Amphitheater in Farmingville New York. Throughout the day some very nice door prizes were given away Sons of Skynyrd, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band, kept the crowd entertained all day. For the kids there was lots of activities plus monster truck rides. Keep an eye on our upcoming shows section for the 2019 dates.
