When it comes to big custom rigs they don’t come much grander then the transporters that haul for Reliable Carriers Inc. from Canton, Michigan.
I can’t say it was the first time I have ever driven through a snow storm headed to the Mid America Truck Show, however waking up in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday March 21st (set up day for us) and seeing not only the grass but all the roads covered in snow was definitely something I have never experienced in my 28 years of attending the show.

The truck show was held together with Hazelton Days again, this time with a carnival right next to the show. Show was about the same size as last year, but lots of different trucks (and a few of the same).
On June 11th 2017 Rick Sousa once again made his way to the Brockton Fairgrounds in Brockton Massachusetts for the 6th Annual Massachusetts Diesel Truck Show.
Troy Huddleston of Yale Illinois is the owner of 1991 Freightliner FLC he calls “Roll With The Changes” and there is no doubt Troy’s truck has earned that name.
Dave Mitchell is the proud owner of this 1995 Western Star Heritage.
I caught this International rolling south on I-95 in Newington Va. Back in the mid 80’s.

So here it is, Jake Bast of Wells Nevada and his 2001 Peterbilt 379 that is way more subtle than its owner, on the outside anyway! Open the door and the interior matches the owner loud and in your face, but 100% cool!!
Going all the way back to the ATHS National Convention in 2015 held in York Pennsylvania when the record number of trucks was reached at 1250 there was already questions as to weather Des Moines would break that record at the 2017 convention.
