If you travel much of western Pennsylvania, you know the area has roots planted firm in the steel industry. And if you have, there’s a good chance you’ve seen Shawn Barnhart’s combo moving iron around somewhere. He is the second owner, and has owned this 2002 Kenworth W900L for over 8 years, but it didn’t always look the way you see it here.
The 2017 Convoy Big Rig Truck Show was held October 8th. Presented by Elizabeth Truck Center the event was held in memory of its founder and founder of Convoy Chrome Shop, Gary Capek. Gary passed away unexpectedly the previous December so this was a very special event for many people.
It had been quite a few years since I had the opportunity to personally attend GBATS and I have never been able to experience the entire event. I wish I could express in words what an amazing event this is but it is something you need to and should experience yourself!
2017 Guilty by Association Truck Show – Kaitlynn Bewley’s Coverage
The 3rd Annual MJT Cape Cod Truck Show was held on Sunday Oct 29th, 2017. Despite the threat of rain, trucks poured through the gates all morning and had the Barnstable Fairgrounds packed full of trucks.

Let’s take a trip over to your Kenworth dealer and introduce you to the newly designed Kenworth Brute and tell you what it’s all about. One of the first things to catch the eye on the newly designed Brute is its steer axle which is set back 64 inches for optimum weight transfer.
On October 7-8th 2017 there was a benefit truck show at the Clinton County Fair Grounds in Pennsylvania. This annual Truckers 4 Hope Jamboree in which benefits Cystic Fibrosis Research under the team name Hope 4 Hayze, had the community excited.
I caught this International Eagle blasting down I-95 Southbound back in the mid 80’s.
I’m not sure what possessed Tim Ahlborn to build a Kenworth but I sure am glad he did!
Dustin Stout sent us these pictures of his bad ass 2003 Western Star lowmax. If you’re a regular at the Mid America Truck Show and this truck looks familiar to you, it should. This was one of the show trucks for 2003 with custom factory paint.
