If you’re a fan of LargeCarMag and you recognize the name Doug Thoman, there’s a good reason for that. Back in the June 2014 issue we featured Doug’s T660, one of the first aero trucks to appear in these pages.
The 46th annual Mid America Trucking show was held March 23-25 as always at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville Kentucky. This year’s show saw over 70,000 attendees checking out the 1,012 exhibitors including the return of major manufacturers.
2017 Mid America
On Saturday June 10th-11th Tracey Rieks and the crew at J&T Logistics held their annual Cornpatch Dual Wheel Classic at J&T Logistics shop in Hubbard Iowa and once again Alicia Larson made her way down to get us this great coverage from a great event.
On June 18th Kaitlynn Bewley made her way to Humboldt Nebraska for the Down Home Truck Show. The show is centered around the town square and Kaitlynn reports it has a nice relaxed family atmosphere.
On June 11th 2016 Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek Maryland hosted the XDP Truck Mania truck Show and drag racing.
On June 26th Berubes held their annual BBQ and Truck Show off at their Bow New Hampshire facility, this year celebrating 30 years in business!
We’re heading to Boston to pick up some clam chowder!!! No wait? That was the Bandit and Snowman who took the double or nothing challenge from Big and Little Enos Burdette in Smokey and the Bandit. Instead were heading up to Boston to check out seafood hauler Travelers Trans Co Inc. Our story begins in the 60s with Frank Adley a fish and seafood broker from the Boston area.
