Vladimir Bilik JR's incredible black and orange 2001 Pete 379 and 2001 Great Dane stainless spread axle reefer are in my opinion, one of the top truck and trailer combos of the 2001 show season. The one of a kind details on the interior and exterior of the truck and the hot rod styling make this truck truly unique.

Starting on the outside, to get the smooth clean look and the hot rod styling he was after, he shaved the roof lights and the door handles. He then chopped the air cleaner lids and painted them black. Next was to flip the mirror brackets for a lower look. A very nice drop visor & 8" stacks with 90 degree elbows were next on the list. The fiberglass full fenders were made by WTI and have Double J light bars attached to them. The battery boxes are full stainless steel and if you look under the truck, you will see a custom made stainless bellypan and a piece of stainless hanging down with the slogan "Drive to Live, Live to Ride." He has custom cut flames in front of the 5th wheel. On the trailer, he also has WTI full fenders with Double J light bars attached, dual working fuel tanks for the reefer unit, and Grote LED lights.

The interior of Vlad's truck is the most impressive I've ever seen. It features one of the few billet aluminum steering wheels in existence for a big truck and billet door handles. He has a hot rod styled suicide shifter. The entire floor in the tractor is stainless steel and many of the accents in the tractor are custom made stainless.

PETEROD rides on a 280" wheelbase and is powered by a 600 cat routed through an 18 speed trans. Vlad is from Santa Clarita, California and hauls produce coast to coast from California to Massachusetts.

Vlad's PETEROD is definitely a working show truck. As of August when I shot this feature, the truck was one year and one week old and had 226,000 miles on it. Vladimir has successfully combined the low California look, hot rod and harley styling into one very incredible ride.
