This month's Readers Ride comes to us from Jason Brons of Canada. Jason owns this awesome 2000 379 Pete. Jason's Pete is powered by a C-15 475 Cat routed through an 18 speed trans and 3.90 rears. The dump body and trailer are aluminum and manufactured by Trojan out of Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Jason says the truck is one of the lightest dump trucks in Canada,. weighing in at only 31,500 pounds empty.

Exterior accessories include train horns, custom light bars on Calgary aluminum and is loaded with Panelite accessories. Inside the truck has leather seats and rockwood interior accessories. Jason leases to a small family owned crushing and trucking company called Sundre Contracting. His main hauls are sand to golf courses, aggregate to concrete plants and a little off road gravel. Hauling all for his good friends the Harders. Most of his runs keep him in Alberta British Columbia, with an occasional run to and from Montana for decorative landscaping stone. Jason is 29 years old and has driven for 12 years. He lives in small town northwest of Calgory Alberta Canada.
